<sigh>
In no way do I doubt the sincerity and veracity of that statement.
It won't be long. I'm sensing some fresh interest. Keep those dice warm.
Employment Counselor: So what are your interests outside of work?
Oblivious Gamer: I like to do a little gaming, wargames, role-playing games.
EC: <cold stare> My cousin killed himself because of role-playing games.
OG: Jesus, what was he playing? Rifts?

Shooting people in the head? Sounds intriguing....
"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
NAPOLEON BONAPARTE
Napoleonics-FRENCH, ECW-New Model Army, ACW - either side, WWI - British, WWII - 101st Airborne, Ancients - Imperial Romans, Celts, Mycenaeans, Eygptians
L5R - Ronin, Spider, Dragon, and ALWAYS a Ratling / Nezumi player.
yes that is how you help move the story from a nice space ship to a penal planet where you can not escape from while rob has social issues with his new ship
Charles Schofield
This sounds more like an episode in Charles' head than a role-playing game.
Is Charles off the meds again?
Whose game was empires and whose stakes were thrones,
Whose table earth, whose dice were human bones.

I can't speak to Charles' meds, but if there's a backwater gulag with a sadistic warden, insurgent faeries, giant steam-powered robots, or a vast collection of guns for which there are no bullets, it's probably one of my games.
Charles forgot that the physical evidence at a crime scene isn't so important when a R&I squad can reanimate and interrogate the victim.
As have we all, at one time or another . . .

Charles Schofield
So are you saying that too much Forrest drives you crazy?
yes in lab mice it has been proven that too much forrest can cause insanity, although the FDA wont let us place a warning label on him.. and Stu all his mice just died lol
Charles Schofield
Charles, you savage beauty, I've only ever had a good effect on you.
Look how I took you under my wing and taught you everything I know about. . . . about. . . well, there must have been something I taught you.
