In terms of when - that just got a lot more interesting, as I've just started a job in Denver. So, for real, don't try to adapt to my available times, I pretty much don't have any til end of May.
In terms of what character type - I tend to favor the soft-spoken Ork sam, or his Jedi cousin.

I'm slowly building up my library with the SR4 books via Amazon, and I'd love to run the shadows of the Front Range Free Zone when I get back from Iraq (that'd be in November/December). Unfortunately, rumor is that my unit is going to Fort Riley, Kansas, so it prolly won't last long.

Hello everyone. I saw that folks were looking for folks for a Shadowrun game.
I've been running a D&D game for about three years now. I've decided to hang it up for a while. I want to try my hand at DMing a Shadowrun game. I've really been in the mood for some good cyberpunk lately. I haven't decided on 3rd edition of 4th ed. Though I have books for 3rd ed, so I am a bit more experienced with it.
In June, I am going to be losing three of my players permanently. One is moving to Pennsyvania, and the other two are getting a PCS to Rammstein Germany. So I need three more players, or at least two. We currently play on tuesday nights, though that can always be moved to another night if possible. I'm not available to play on weekends.
the group ranged in experience, from fairly new players, who I gave their first taste of gaming to, to a few who have been gaming for twenty years. I myself have been actively into gaming since the 90s. We're all pretty familiar with D&D, but we also have experience in World of Darkness, Paladium and BESM to name a few. We all pretty much know what we are doing.
I'd sure love to find a few new players to give our group a boost. Once my players leave, we'd be down to just four of us. I'd prefer to have six.

We play on tuesdays right now. though if we need to change days to accommodate any new players, we might be abl eto slide to Thursday or even Monday. We've played then before. It will depend on everyone's schedule.
I picked up SR4. So we will be doing 4th Edition. I'm still looking to fill two or three seats at my table. So far, looks like it will be on Tuesday night, starting in a few weeks once I wrap up my D&D campaign.

My friend and I are trying to start up a new group, and have been considering Shadowrun. I'm heavily invested in 3rd edition, and would like to run a game on Saturdays, starting as soon as possible. As for experience, I've been playing and running SR since 2nd ed, although I haven't played that much in recent years.
