Jason (or anyone for that matter),

I happen to have two questions for you. The first is what is the Mentor Legion Gaming Club? I have not heard of it, nor see any info on the web.

The second is we can only have two maximum core units correct? Just wanted to verify from what I am reading.

Am I right in assuming no Grey Knights for this, as they have no Battleforce?

We have a winnah! Give the handsome man in the spectacles a Kewpie Doll!

Exactly: no Battleforce box = no participation as a viable army.

Or Dark Angels. The Ravenwing Battleforce technically has enough for a Captain on bike, 5 Ravenwing bikers, an attached Attack Bike and an attached Land Speeder... so 1 HQ and 1 Troop.

And with the "generic" Space Marine box and the DA bits/accessories left over from the Ravenwing box, you can add a Tactical Squad, an Assault Sqaud, 5 Scouts and a Rhino.

Re: 40K Battleforce Skirmish and Ceramite Painter CHALLENGE!

I'm realizing the Daemon Battleforce presents me with poor options for only 2 Troop choices, unless I want to play (yechhh) Khorne Daemons a lot. My chaos plans lean much more to the Slaaneshi side.
I still have the Dark Eldar Battleforce I bought at the start of the year, plus Lelith, all assembled but unpainted. If I presented those for pre-paint inspection, would that be an acceptable point of entry?

If not, I'm also considering Necrons...cause you can never have too many...

Per Challenge admin council, it is preferred the Battleforce and attached units be newly purchased. Ed has already pointed out some of the reasons this decision was reached.

Plus, it adds to the frenzied, Escalation feel of the event!

You *CAN* add other units to the Battleforce... just remain within the Allied Detachemnt chart organization and no more than 1000 points.

    Official Start Date: TODAY!

You've got until Saturday, September 15th, to get as many games in and paint your Allied Detachment Battleforce, up to 1000pts!

... then on 9/15, be prepared for a shake-up... and save the date...
