I got the MML (Metal, magic and lore) rpg core book from my wife as a gift. After reading it as far as I have, it seems to be extremely rules intensive. I wasn't sure what a set of rules like this could be used for adventure wise, except for things like re enactments of the crusades or something.
Tonight I went to see the new Wrath of the Titans movie. While not divulging any info, I think that these rules would be perfect for that type of setting...with a few alterations.
Also, while I was at the store the other day, the crew said that there were a couple of people on the boards here who loved MML had experience with it. Please, tell me what experiences you've had, and how the games tend to play out with these rules. I only have the core book, and have had no chance to even roll a character yet, but I am very intrigued by the system.
