    Question on Alternate models

I was wondering what the policy is on using alternate models @ Tournaments.

I won an Ogrun model (research shows he is from the Iron Kingdom RPG mini, also by PP) in an auction lot and I would like to use him as an Ogrun Bokur. He has the long halberd-thing and a gun (but I can remove the gun and give him a shield).

At large tournaments it is frowned upon. I know the Denver and Pueblo PG's don't usually allow it either. In the Springs, most of the PG's will have no problem with it. I'd take both models with you just in case the TO doesn't allow your alt idea.

    Thanks D.

I wasn't planning on buying a real Bokur... Nor use him in a tourney, but its always good to know (in case I ever decide to build my all-character merc solo army)

There's more leeway if it is a PP model to start with. I *think* the Steamroller rules say a conversion must be 50% the original model, but I can't recall what SR2012 says.
