Warhammer Invasion League: Witch's Gambit - Wednesdays in September

Starting Wednesday, September 7th, and running Wednesdays for six weeks, Gamer's haven will be hosting another Warhammer Invasion league.

Some useful information can be found here: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ed...eidm=85&esem=4

Of particular note are the Tournamment rules, the FAQ and errata, and for new players, the Tutorials.

This is a fun event using achievement scoring much like the last one.

    Single race or multi-race decks?

Whatever you want. You can play different decks and capitals each week, in the pursuit of achievements. One of the achievements requires a two factions. There will also be a theme night where you will get a bonus for playing race pure deck. But it can be ignored if you prefer race pure decks.

Sadly Ive had a very full week (Monday drove to Pueblo for Dialysis, Tuesday drove to Springs for Dialysis and saw Ed at the Store, Wednesday drove to Denver for a VA appointment) and passed out on my couch when I got home and didnt make it to the Haven tonight. Maybe next week? I know I missed the beginning of the campaign but id like to watch some and maybe get a game or two in on the side.

Oh by the way, When I was at the store on Tuesday I saw Ed taking inventory. While I was catching up with him I saw that the inventory list was for "Cylon Spare Parts" I told him that was cool and asked when they stared stocking Cylon parts? He glared at me and covered the clip board and went on as if I didnt say anyting. Now dont get me wrong. I'm not saying Ed is a Cylon. No, No. I dont wanna get shot in the face by his hidden arm laser. Im just pointing out that ....

I think Ed said something about being able to play any night of the week. All you have to do is play someone who hasn't gotten in a game or knows they will miss one.

    Hey Trish,

You did get that last achievement.

    We thought:
You did 13 points of damage.
    My cards cancelled 2.
My guy defending took 2 points of damage
So 9 points of damage got through.

    But:
My guy defending already had a point of damage on him.
1 point killed him and the other point went through to my Capital.

    10 points of damage!

I'll sign off on your card this coming Wednesday.

Forrest - I just let her know, she doesn't have an account on the forum. She says, "Very cool and thank you." Will see you Wed. She also said thanks for the great two games. I think it was Tim C. who said it looked like a chess match going on over there.

Ed - This would give her four completed achievements instead of the three. That might have still been top for the night so no harm done, but you know the numbers.
