Re: Legends of the High Seas

    All Aspiring Swashbucklers,

Steve and I have been breaking out our various Legends of the High Seas crews and playing some one-off games and have caught the bug again to start a campaign!
For those of you who were involved in the first campaign using this ruleset, we'd like to resurrect interest in this game and get as many crews out there to play against/with as possible.
This is an incredibly fun system that allows you to customize your crews with Hired Hands, increased characteristics, stats and wargear items... plus the occasional loss of limbs and crew.
If you are interested in learning the game or participating in the campaign, please feel free to contact myself or Steve...
We hope to start playing again every Wednesday evening at around 6PM.

So far, we have myself, Steve, Troy, and Ed bringing their crews along with possibly Regan bringing his Royal British Navy Marine crew and a demo game already under his belt!
Tom, Forrest, and anyone else interested in participating?

All are welcome to participate and feel free to ask any questions you might have!
See you all on Wednesday (16 May) @ 6 PM!

    Respectfully,
    KEVIN

I will definitely try to make it up to the store Wednesday night as long as work cooperates. It'll probably be closer to 7pm before I can get there though. Can I proxy some British infantry as Royal Marines until I can get some pirates? How many dudes should I bring?

    I think a solid/average crew size is anywhere between 7 to 10.

    Steve & Troy,

Not sure if I'll be able to make it tonight for LOTHS due to work commitments that may keep me until 7PM. However, I'll give a call to the store if I can make it as regularly scheduled.
Let me know how things go... I'm anxious to get this up and running again!

    Respectfully,
    KEVIN

I'm interested in playing in the future but I'm also one who may not be able to make it there by 6. I'll be out all next week and possibly the one after that but I'll keep watching the forum here. Also hoping to see The Old West come back again.

I just got home from work. Weekdays are really tough for me to do anything in the evenings.

Re: Legends of the High Seas

    Here it is Mateys!
Starting this Wednesday, 6 June at around 6PM, we are starting our Legends of the High Seas player campaign! Steve, Troy, Ed, Regan and I are the core group of players/crews at the moment and can demo the game at anytime... we're starting with 100 doubloon crews and will start keeping track of scenario/turn results every two weeks. This is purely a fun-for-play type campaign where every game can help or hurt your crew and permits your crew to gain experience and better stats or equipment, as well as get bigger, and better, as the campaign gets longer. By the time the campaign ends, you'll be proud of the results of your personalized crew and the adventures they've experienced on the high seas; win or lose.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact Steve or I and we'll be more than happy to answer any of your questions. Otherwise, we hope to see you and your scurvy dogs on Wednesday evenings!

    Respectfully,
    KEVIN

Re: Legends of the High Seas

It's never too late to join in the Legends of the High Seas fun!

The first round of games started with Steve, Troy, Regan and I playing a 4-way free for all in a "Sack the Town" scenario.

Round two does not begin for another two weeks (20 June), so in the meantime, please feel free to come by on Wednesdays and inquire about a demo or ask any questions you may have about the system or campaign.

    Respectfully,
    KEVIN
