I picked up the Britannia starter box and the rulebook today (Rob has them in now!) and the rule book. After a quick glance through this is looking like what I always wanted uncharted seas to be. Does anyone else plan on playing?

That sounds encouraging. Flipping through the book yesterday, I was impressed with the wider scope of the game. I hope it doesn't take too much brainworkings for me now.

I will be in london for the first 2 weeks in January but I would like to get in a game before i leave if anyone has the time. Also, Ed I say go for it. in the box you get the battleship 3 cruisers 9 frigates 2 bombers and 10 aeroplane tokens. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my box and found much more stuff than was on the picture, and if it means getting you into the game I'll let you borrow my rulebook while I'm out of town to boot.

I'll have to watch or play a few times before I jump in. Time for gaming away from the home has taken a serious drop since we started going to Krav. To make it worse Deeann has Tuesday and Thursday night classes starting next semester.
