Calling all 3.5ers I am new to Colorado Springs like many people around here and I am looking for a new Gaming Group. I am interested in starting a new group on Friday nights from about 6 or 7 until we are tired of playing f or the night. I can DM but would prefer to play. I will have 4 players already which will be myself my wife my brother and a friend. Also, it would be hosted at my house. If you are interested about joining or DMing please call me at 985-445-7983. Please do not call later than 9pm during the week, I am in the Army and have to wake up early. Thanks for your replies.

3.5? I could be tempted in DMing/Playing... However I'm allergic to animals. What part of town are you in ?

Are you extremely allergic because the dogs can be outside or in their cages during play? I live in heritage neighborhood on Lords Hill Drive.

Eeeek, That's like the other end of town ! :S I'll pass man...
Dog generally aren't too bad if I take pills, but cats are a deal-breaker.
If you change the venue, let me know.

You might have become a savior. :) My friend and I are both avid 3.5 players and we're both open to playing. I've DM'ed quite a bit and played as well, and he's pretty much a player or co-dm should I need the help. I ended up running a campaign last year with 9 people. It was interesting, but fell apart since so many people were stepping on each others toes. If you get this before then, you can also call me at 323-715-1679, or I'll give you a call on Monday afternoon.

I'm looking to put together a new group, for Thursdays, Fridays, or Sundays.
I live at 30th and Centennial, and have no pets. I'd rather not be driving to the south end of town.
I'd prefer DND 3.5 (as I still haven't made my way through the stack of 3.5 books I have!) but other games are a possibility.

Drackon that sounds awesome so your good to go for a Friday night. I do have dogs but they will be outside or in their kennel. If you can DM that would be great like I said I prefer to play but I can DM even though I suck pretty bad we can always switch out though. I live on Lords Hill Dr in Fountain if that is good with you, call for address. I was thinking the first night could be meet and greet and character creation, then we can game if we want or just wait until the next week. I would prefer to play every week if possible but I can be flexible. If you have more friends feel welcome to bring them I am always excited to have a full house. When would you be willing to start? Thanks for replying.

gjy3a2 I am looking at Friday nights if that is OK. I would like to have it at my house but we can alternate or something if that is cool with you. You do live kinda far away but D&D knows no bounds. Anyway let me know what you think.

Dogs are not a problem for me. I love them to death. :) We'll happily be there this Friday, unless something evil and despicable turns up, but as of right now, we'll be happy. I've actually got a couple of Campaigns already done. I've done them with other people and they worked pretty well. :) Night one is ALWAYS character creation :) Sooooo...see ya then.

Sounds good. Just to let you know my parents are in town, but they will be out of the way. Also, my wife might be getting deployed, so she might have to leave during the campaign. Just to get a clue how old are you and your friend? I'm 23, my wife is 26, my brother is 19 and my friend who will be playing is 22. I might also have another person coming if thats ok. So the count should be about 7 players, if thats cool with you. If the number you gave is a cell phone I will text you my address when ever you want. Can't wait.

Sounds perfect. The number is indeed my cell phone, so that would be great. I'm 25, and my friend is 22. If there are enough PCs, I usually don't add party NPCs, unless it's a small guide or a 'quest' person. :) Since it sounds like a good group, my friend will probably co-DM with me when we do. As for your wife leaving, it's not a worry. We've had people come and go before and always had a way to slide them in and out. He's good at character / boss creation and traps / rewards. I'm an expert at item creation and map development, so we make a great team. So, text away.

Hey old 2nd edition dm here. I'm actually only 25, but me and my wife just moved to the area and looking to get into a group. I have all the 3.5 books and practially know 2nd off the top of my head. My wife doesn't have much experience but wants to get into it. We can host if needed. Just looking for a group we can relax, have a couple drinks with, and play a great game. I can dm if needed but would honestly prefer to play a character. e-mail me if anyone is interested. Doesn't matter how long this is up, could always use a new character or could be the last one needed.
