I'm looking to have bigger battle where an armored column tries to relieve an airborne company. Looking at 1500 points per company. Due to this up coming weekend being 4th of July looking at sunday the 12th for this game. Would like an idea of who would be interested in this battle. Already have 4 interested in this scenario, but could mix in 2 more.

Just for the record, the Airborne never needed rescuing. ; )

I would like to get an idea of what armies people will be playing. Want to make sure there is equal teams for both sides. My brother and I will be doing one American and one German company, so thats one for each side.

I plan to be there and hope to help. Other than a couple Tigers (unless some other painted tanks I got show up tonight) Thats all I have currently. I'm also working on a BMW/MG recon force but that will be another week to finish.

I will be there, with my British airborne, but I can't make to till around 1:30 or 2 and I talk with Little Dave he said he will be there, but he will be running late also.
I will try to be there around 1-2, wanted to see how the game plays before I get into it. If someone has extra units I could use, I wouldnt mind trying to play.
Hey Jeremy,
I'm back in town and might be interested. What do you have so far?
I could bring Germans if you need them. Maybe we should all meet at 1 ish.

Right you are, Troy. But then, they (we) were always a little "Nuts!"
;)
Thanks for the time everyone took to show us the basics! I plan on picking up the rulebook and maybe a blister or two of models to start working on in the next few weeks. Still unsure of what to play, but I will keep my options open.

Glad you could play Omar, hope to see you on a regular basis. As for the game it was looking like the airborne was having to break out to save the relief force, how does that work? If any of those who played have any suggestions on how to tweak the scenario I would like to hear them. I had fun with it and would like to try it again in the future.

I think the scenario was just fine. If anything I believe it was the landscape that bottled up the allies more than anything. The Shermans came down both valleys and the right flank got stuck hitting the stream and getting bogged down. If they had went over the hill they probably would have been alright, just my $.02
