Battle Dragons!

I was talking to Rob and we were thinking of putting together a Battle Dragons day sometime soon. Battle Dragons was put out a couple years ago to very little fan-fare, but it's not a bad game (review here: http://www.rpg.net/news+reviews/reviews/rev_6913.html)

All you need is a dragon figure of some kind. I'm going to use one of my McFarlane dragons and I'll bring a Clan War dragons as well. I'd recommend the McFarlane dragons or the Blue D&D dragon as the biggest anyone should bring. On the small side, you could use anything down to a Hero-Clix sized fig.

The game also allows for units of Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Centaurs, and the like. For ease of reference, we're going to be using the the WFB scale for these smaller races.

I bought the rules for that a while back, looks like a fun game. Wish I was back in town so I could finally play it. :(

One idea that was suggested in the review of BD was to use the rules to play Kaiju (Godzilla, Mothra, etc) battles. Not sure how we'd work the Japanese SDF into it, but I'm sure we could come up with something.

Forrest has a set of rules for doing DESTORY ALL MONSTERS!

But Battle Dragons does sound interesting.

Its been a while since I've read the rules for the game but if i remeber right there's something about being able to construct walls that was pretty neat.
