I am looking to fine toon this list, the 2 troops, 1 demons, 1 terminator, 1 chaos lord is what I want to work with so plz help me tune these guys.
The Unyielding - they are an army inflicted with an undead plague that mobilizes the fallen against their former bretheran. It is a very theme based army using paint schemes of different chapters all in a macabre undead look.

Mark of Nurgle, Bolt Pistol, Manreaper, Frag Grenades, Daemonic Aura, Daemonic Steed, Daemonic Strength, Daemon Armour, Furious Charge, Nurgle's Rot
Chosen Points: 359

Hi Edge,
Lord - I would save some points and drop the armor.
Terminators - You cannot infiltrate termies. Switch it for tank hunters. Mixed initiative attacks can be bad. Remember you pull casualties in initiative order. I would give everyone power fists and leave it at that. I don't really see a need to upgrade one of them to a champion
Troops squads. If you are using the death guard rules they should be in units of 7. Doing that makes the upgrade for the aspiring champions free. Give the champion a fist and put some special weapons in the squads. I would do one with plasma and one with melta.
If you field using the deathguard rules if you summon a unit with the favored number you get a +1 to the role so I would drop the plague bearers to a 7 man unit.
Heavy Support
Think about switching the dread for a defiler. Possession is really expensive you usually die before you get your points back.
By changing the points around like I suggested you could:
Lord
Marines
Marines
Bearers
Bearers
Pred
Defiler
and with the extra points buy some nurglings.

On top of the good advice warmaster has given, you may want to consider dropping more points from your termies, they're great and hard to kill, but you want to be to have them earn their points back, and being 350-ish, points, it would mean they'd have to kill the equaivalent of land raider each game, and then some! I'm not saying don't take them though, they could probably do just fine if you keep them with what they come with, power weapon the mark of Nurgle, and the Combi-bolter. And maybe a power fist or two for those nasty high toughness enemies.
I would also consider more straight up plague marines, and they are great when put into Rhinos.
That's just what I do with my plague marines, I run two dreads, a defilier, 4 plaguemarine squads, a Demon prince, and the Great unclean one in an 1850 point list. And I would drop a plague marine squad and the great unclean one and then take some nurglings for a 1500 point list. But that's just me, and of course the final decision comes down to you.
Here is what I have now, I do not have the point brakdown with me but....
Chaos Lord (using the horseman model from fantasy so changes have to keep the manreaper and steed)
Mark of Nurgle, Bolt Pistol, Manreaper, Frag Grenades, Daemonic Aura, Daemonic Steed, Daemonic Strength, Furious Charge, Nurgle's Rot, Spikey bits, tele homer, personal icon
Chosen Terminators
Chosen Terminator (x2) tank hunter, Mark of Nurgle, Reaper Autocannon, Power Fist
Chosen Terminator (x4) tank hunter, Mark of Nurgle, combi-bolter, power fist
CSM Squads (three of this unit)
Aspiring Champion Infiltrate, Mark of Nurgle, Bolter, Power Fist, Frag Grenades, Chaos Icon, tele homer
Chaos Space Marine (x4) Bolter, Close Combat Weapon, Infiltrate, Mark of Nurgle, Frag Grenades
Chaos Space Marine Plasma gun, Infiltrate, Mark of Nurgle, Frag Grenades
Chaos Space Marine Meltagun, Infiltrate, Mark of Nurgle, Frag Grenades
2 units of Plaguebearers (x7)
Chaos Predator
--Autocannon, Lascannon, Lascannon, Daemonic Possession, Extra Armour, Parasitic Possession
NEXT PART IS ON MODELING THE ARMY
This is the idea I have for my army theme:
The Unyielding is essentially an undead plague (sort of Resident evil style) that turns humans into wanten mobs of destruction and chaos. The CSM are fallen Chapter marines and demons seeking only to devour and spread the unyielding plague. Their numbers replenish from the fallen enemies...they are unstoppable....they are the Unyielding!!!
First I am carving up space marines and sticking in skeleton and zombie parts. I will put a ton of battle damage and then green-stuff some slime and ooze. The paint schemes are going to be beat-up, damaged chapter marines, so if you look you will see blood angels, space wolves, black templars, etc. I figure their "undead" nature makes up for the trashed armor. The horror of this army is that it needs to look like normal marines come back from the dead. I want to stay away from the "Chaos Marines" look.
My Chaos lord is going to be the Nurgle "horseman" from fantasy. Just putting a large round base instead of the square that comes with it. Normal sized lord on horse still cannot be shoot if another of my units is closer?
My termies will be very similar, though I am going to magnet the arms for options. How different is the reaper auto-cannon than the one that comes with the new plastic termies?
Here is a question... can I use beastagores modelled with slime and poison as plaguebearers? Reasons I believe it should be allowed is a) they are GW models b ) modeling the poisonous slime that gives them an extra attack c) there are no Beasts of Chaos (aside from hounds and harpies) in 40K to confuse them with.
How about using a space marines predator given some battle damage, slime (green stuff), and bodies all strapped to it work for a Nurgle chaos predator tank? Would putting a Umbrella Corp symbol on the tank be going overboard (just a small one)?

Okay any ideas for taking this army up to 1850 points?
a) I am thinking a 7th termie for the free aspiring champ, or
b) Maybe a defiler and some nurgling fodder, or
c) another unit of plague marines, or
d) a greater demon

A couple of idea's here.
Plasma guns work really well with tank hunter. If you drop infiltrate off of one or two of the plasma guns, give them tank hunters. And to give them a little more resilience buy the aspiring champion a spawn (great modeling opportunity for your army too). The spawn is awesome for plague marines because it has the same toughness and save as a normal plague so you can put wounds on it for shots. The poor little spawn can take two lascannon hits for you sparing your poor plague marines :).
I would drop the frag from your plasma squads. You are almost always going to be rapid firing with them and will be taking the charge.
You are very close to my actual list that I play with my death guard ;).
I would switch your weapon load out on the predator for all lascannons. You just sit him in cover and hope the hits all glance off of him. Plus he is a great fire magnet.
As for upgrading to 1850:
A defiler is a very good upgrade to your list. The laspred and a defiler give you decent long range anti-tank.
The great unclean one is really cool, but he shines when placed in a unit with a rhino.
More foot units is also very good. Nurgle possessed are actually fairly tough hombre's as well if you don't want to add another troop squad in.
Nurglings make a nice buffer for your terminators. Put one squad of nurgles little kids in front and force people to wade through them to get to your plague marines.

Well as an avid Death Guard player for over 7 years....heres my advice....DG strnegth lies within T5; TrueGrit ;Rapid fire As "cool" as plauge terminators are....they are just not effective, i have a pimp unit that i just cant make work. look at a few of them

Plauge bearers are underestimated....a great tie up unit for 112 points plus if you pull the right opponant...tau, zilla nids....they can be very effective...
brings me back to my original point
plauge marines with bolters and plasma;melta;power fist in a rhino are sick...
you can build rhino walls and take the center of the table, let your opponant destroy the vehicles and move into the wreckage for 4+cover...mix it up with an infiltrating squad to deliver the demons....anddefilers are better than dreads....
plus the great unclean one is a "G"
I just won best over all with my Deathgaurd at FT.Collins 22man RTT...so they are competative
