Arkham Horror summer campaign:
In store summer campaign using the Fantasy Flight summer campaign as a backdrop. Play at least one game every two weeks with your team and report the results in store, and online too if you like. Guidelines are modified for store play.

Over this summer the city of Arkham is going to be crawling with monsters, mayhem, and magic! It is up to you and your team of investigators to combat the forces of the Great Old Ones as they try to devour our reality. Gather your forces and compete against other teams across the world, as you take on ten scenarios each harder than the last. Every two weeks a new scenario will be posted, and teams will scramble to beat the Ancient One quickly and efficiently. The following guidelines will tell you what you need to battle these foes.
Guidelines
• A team can consist of 4 investigators.
• All players can choose which investigator they would like to be.
• A player may not change investigators unless they are devoured during a game.
• Each scenario may be played twice. The best result may be used.
• The first and second scenarios will be from the base game. Scenarios 3 and 4 will include elements from the Dunwich Horror. Scenarios 5 and 6 will include elements from The King in Yellow. Scenarios 7 and 8 will include elements from The Curse of the Dark Pharaoh and Kingsport. The final two scenarios will include elements from all the sets.
• Results will be posted and updated right here, on the Arkham Horror website.
• Report results to the store by posting on the forums.
• All forms need to be e-mailed to JR Godwin.

Sign up here A.S.A.P. The first scenario has already dropped. Indicate your team or if you are looking for a team.

I'm jazzed, except for the part of me that realizes that would be the 3rd or 4th league I'm committed to...not sure I can do it.

Anyone need a dabbler for their team? And want to play early Saturday (before my AT-43 game...) ?

Greetings SgtBrowncoat,

My name is Russ and I have 3 guys (myself and 2 others) interested in joining the tournament. We have a potential fourth in the works but would welcome a joiner as well if they commit before our potential fourth commits.

Just let me know if I need to register formally in some other way or if any other rules apply before we get committed to this. I just need to keep my other guys in the loop and current.

Thanks,
Russ

P.S. I own Arkham Horror and a few of the expansions, but not all of them. Will there be a way to play with what I don't own short of buying all the missing expansions?

Welcome!
Just get your games in with the posted scenarios, and report the results here.

As far as expansions are concerned, depending on timing and so forth, I might be able to let you use mine or someone else might let you use thiers, but that is pretty dependant, so you might even consider looking for a fourth that has the ones you are missing. they are all pretty well worth it, in my opinion, though. : )

finally, the first two scenarios are up, so we should all get our games in. If you can't ghet four players together right away, go ahead and just get a game with four characters in and we can all get caught up.

I have contacted my guys and we are going to knock out the first 2 scenarios ASAP. Do we need to have a judge present for the game or is it honor system for the scoring sheet?

Honor system is fine. Good luck!

Soon, I hope, what days and times are good for you, Dale? Most evenings are good for me.

Thursday night is a possibility, and I'm not sure what Saturday afternoon holds yet.

I didn't see another place to post this, so I will post it here... Our group got together on 07/25 and played the first 2 scenarios (we will be rerunning the second scenario due to getting stomped by the baddies!)

I used the scoring system listed in the rulebook to get the score as I couldn't find any other scoring methods for the league.

By those ratings, we scored 22 on the first scenario.

Cheers,
Russ

Right on, my group has fallen hard into the "completely disorganized" category, we are trying to get something cohesive together and will hopefully have something to report for ourselves soon.
