View Full Version : Question about base sizing Flamethrowers

I'm working on my list, which has German Pioneers out of the Ostfront book. In their description, it says I can replace one team of pioneer rifle with a Flamethrower team.

A couple questions:

1) What base size does a FT team take, 5 man or 3 man?

2) How many men are in the "team" (does it matter if I put two or three on the smaller size base? Maybe just him by himself?)

And on a tangential note:
Is there any advantage to making my Grenadierkompanie's small platoon "white pioneers" as opposed to buying the separate Pioneer platoon?

It seems that only the actual pioneer platoon can use the flamethrower and extras such as wagons and such.

Where do I find the rules for that extra stuff like wagons, etc.?

For a flame thrower unit, I would base them on the 5 man stands, thats what they are suppose to be on.

Well you should put three on each command base.

As for Extra rules, i would try, either, the Book you have (Akrika, Osfront, FE) and look right after the german section of the book.
