Help my girlfriend beat me up
I’ve undertaken a project that involves my girlfriend having to beat me at a game of 40K in order to earn the return of her beloved stuffed animal from the “kidnappers” (i.e. me). I’m holding it for ransom currently.
What I need is for someone to be available probably about the 17th, maybe the 18th, it’s a little vague right now, to do two things. First, to play a demo game of 40K and teach her the fundamentals. Second, after the “demo game” I show up and she has to beat me playing my Tau to get her stuffed animal back, and the person who teaches her should coach her on how to beat me.
I figured since the odds are kinda stacked against her, I’d do a couple things to give her a big advantage. First, I’m gonna put out a list here and whoever helps her can design a list against that. In the instructional game, she should play with the list that she’s going to use against me so she has an idea the actual capabilities (remove theoreticals). Third, I’m going to play either 750 points or 1000, and her list should have 1000 or 1250, respectively.
What I need is someone that I know fairly well to be her instructor, and someone to provide her with a Space Marine list (preferably decently painted, so the whole experience is very fun. Dale? Tim? Jason? Rich? (I don't mean to leave others out - there are plenty of ya I know)
Anyone able to make an afternoon available – I can compensate ya with a gift certificate if you like…
