Josh:

I'll be getting off of my duty rotation on the morning of the day after Thanksgiving, perhaps we can schedule a game over that weekend?

I'd like to try and get together as much of my 2000 points of Waffen SS Gerpanzerte Panzergrenadiers together as possible to prep for the Late-War tourney next month. Let me know if you're interested.

Respectfully,
KEVIN

Kevin,

I'd love to get some games in. I have no problem playing against 2000 pts worth of SS, though you may be facing the dreaded Tiger Kompanie or US Infantry, if that is not a problem.

Anyone interested in playing some games Saturday or Sunday?? Mid or Late war works, and I'll have a US Tank Company and the Tiger Kompanie, both playable to 2000 points (if no one minds proxies). I'll be free soon and want to let the tanks roll...

I may try to be there --have to figure out how to escape the merriment. What time are you planning on starting? If I can break away, I will bring a 1500 point motostrelkovy (heavy tank) or a mixed 3000 point Russian hodge podge of destruction.

I'd probably be at Gamer's around 12 or 1, with any day of week working for me (except Thursday of course). I have no problem facing a 3000 pt hodge podge of death, after all I enjoy fighting lopsided battles. What era are you Russkies, Mid or Late?? Most of the stuff I have available is Late War, but if necessary I might be scrounge a descent Mid war force, no idea on size though.

My ruskies are mid war. Georgi Zhukov: "large-scale battles and whole wars are won by troops which have a strong will for victory" my men are very motivated when dueling the german hitlerettes.

I have company all the way through the Thanksgiving holiday--but I am going to try and breakoff for a game Sunday. I will keep you posted.

Ok, I'll have a 1500 pt Mid-War Panzer force along with the Tiger Kompanie and American armor. Just let me know when and where and there is a 99.9% chance I'll be there. Really hope you can make it Johnny, I'd love to play against some Russians for a change:D

Just FYI...

I'm planning on getting to the Haven on Sunday for a scheduled 40K game and will also bring whatever I have in Germans for a game in the latter half of the day.

Respectfully,
KEVIN

P.S. I'm still trying to put together my late-war Gepanzerte Panzergrenadier company so there will most liket be a lot of works in progress and 0% of my miniatures will be painted.

I have no problem with that, as I am guitly of it numerous times. It's more important to play and have fun than having everything done, at least that's my opinion.

Josh:

I subscribe to the same miniature gaming belief. Besides, as a novice to FOW I'll need some additional time to figure out what units are worth purchasing and using for the particular armies I am thinking of putting together.

Although, I am pretty sold on the Maultier Panzerwerfer 42s and the StuG Gs. My biggest concern now is how to deal with aircraft.... right now I have a few armoured light anti-aircraft guns but, not sure how effective they will be in gameplay.

KEVIN

Yeah, I plan on using the Panzerwerfers in my Tiger Kompanie at the 2000+ point level. They should be very interesting.

I've spent some time painting in the last week.
Finished my 6th strelk inf platoon, 5 t-34s and 2 flame thrower platoons.
So i will be able to field a true strelkovy, tankovy, or Motostrelkovy batalion. My options are growing plentiful. I will be there Sunday at noonish

cya then :)

Sweet. I look forward to meeting (and killing) these new troops on the field of battle:D I'll see you there.
