Okay let's get this baby started up.
Does anybody here in town play?
Which rule set do you use - older or newer.
What size force do you usually field and is is Southern, Northern or Terran?

I haven't really played naything DP9 except HeavyGear, and then not since second edition, but I always liked the gears and the fluff for the universe.
Jovian Chronicles I never got into, but that was mainly due to monetary concerns.

I am really getting into Jovian Chronicles. It has a very Gundam-like feel to it, but a bit more hard science to it. I really like the setting as well. It can be political, warfare, espionage, or anything you can come up with. When I found out about it and read up on it, I did a bit of splurging and purchased every single sourcebook and game book except, the JC 2ed (1st comes with all the rules within) and Lightning Strike 2ed (I have 1st ed with Behind the Veil and Call to Arms). I am doing more reading/research before I think about running this great game.

After doing the research and looking at the rules, I am planning on playing the PEACE RIVER DEFENSE FORCE.

I have a older ruleset for Heavy Gear, along with a mostly Gear Northern army force. If anyone wants to show me the new rules, I am willing to try them. Or I can get my force blow up in the old school way.:D

I still play 2nd Edition Heavy Gear and I am starting to pick up some Blitz! stuff. I have the rules and enough minis and terrain to host a game if anyone is interested in learning the game. I'm availanble Friday nights and any time Saturday or Sunday.
I also play Gear Krieg and Lightning Strike if anyone is interested in those games as well.

Jacob,
Sure, I could play Friday. What time would you be available? I could get there by 6:00 p.m. 2nd edition would be easiest for me until I get more familiar with Blitz! I have terrain and minis enough for both of us if you like.

Count me in. Been playing Heavy Gear off and on since 1st Edition. Haven't had the chance to play the new Blitz rules yet, but I've got both Northern and Southern minis.

Have you guys been playing at all? I demo'ed the new Blitz rules up at genCon and bought myself some mini's to start playing around with and the rules.

Rob has run some people thru a couple of games. I need to play some myself to get the rules right.

I haven't run any games lately - I've been working on Gear Krieg for Tacticon this weekend. I'll be up for some more games in a couple of weeks.
