Hi All,
My name is Shannon, I might have met some of you at GH's 1st Sat of the month gaming sessions or the other gaming groups around. I pretty much like any kind of game, especially strategy games. I'm pretty much willing to play any game at least once and have been finding out about all kinds of games I've never heard of with the various gaming groups. My group of friends used to play Robo Rally, Age of Mythology, Tailsman, Runebound, Order of the Stick, Heros Quest and a few other board games frequently but due to various things like work schedule changes and moving, our gaming group has disolved to some extent.

I also like D&D 3.5, however I would like to try some other kind of RPG someday, and I paint my own mini's for campaigns I'm in when I have the time. I'm a computer geek by trade and http://360.yahoo.com/slliska
gives a pretty good summary of my likes and interests.

I've been trying to attend the gaming available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays when I can but those are my 12 hr work days, so it's pretty difficult. I do have plans most Sundays but would like to do some gaming (board, RPGs, etc) on the 3rd Sunday of the month and/or Monday evenings or Tuesday afternoon/evenings.

So if anyone has anything interesting going on during those days, let me know, otherwise I will see some of you around the GH store or it's game sessions or at the other various gaming sessions during the week. :)

Hi Shannon, glad you had a chance to make in in today and play a board game or two. How did Settler's turn out?

Hi Ray,
Just a few rounds after you turned your game over to me, Craig won the longest road category and thus earned the most victory points; winnng the game. Nice game, I will look forward to playing it again sometime.

Glad you liked it. The last draw of four development cards netted three soldiers, which we didn't need. I was looking for the add two road sections and a VP or two and was going to try and sneak the longest road away from the others. Thought I might try and see if you could win without actually building anything new.
