Which Armies do you collect?

I'm confused by the percentages. As I'm looking at it, there are 39 armies, with 10 of them being Space marines. But the percentage reads as 66.67%.

Could it be that it is saying 2/3 of the people who responded put space marines down as one of the armies they play?

I think so, if you look at one of the lesser played it says 12% which is more in line with 12% of the people who voted. Hmm, it's bad when you mark all but two of the categories.

Well, and this survey comes with another qualification. To be really accurate, we need to mark each box multiple times to reflect multiple armies.

I know you Rich, have at least 6 Chaos armies, probably more.

Love the greenies. Still deciding what clan to play but I love painting bad moons!

Lots of marines. But Gamers Haven is still really diverse in it's army choices.

Tyranids are the only army that really get me going.

The necrons were fun for a while, but then the codex came out. In a week's time I went from getting reactions like "Wow, that's so cool! I've never seen anyone play that army before." to things like "Oh, another cheesy necron player." Funny the only change that I made to my army was that I dropped the second veil of darkness. Suddenly it was cheesy. I blame the space marines.

its all about the noise marines baby, where else can you field 6 man squads that shoot more than a 10 man unit of marines or eldar, and besides the chicks dig the rock and roll

I voted for my current 4: Eldar, Orks, Space Marines, Witch Hunters

But whether or not I truly finish any of those is very dependent on future excitement for the game. Like seeing a Sisters plastic Sprue finally, a new Exorcist kit, or an Ork army to drive me wild with 40K desire again. Or Blood Angels to do the same thing. Eldar were nice, but didn't drive me wild.

Wow you brought this thread back from the dead! I voted as well. Finally finished up my 1500 points of Orks, and recently started collecting Space Marines for a upcoming Salamander force.

There is alot more people that play everything than I though. All usually see just SM, chaos, eldar, IG and ork. It is nice to see everything being played.
