The cartoon characters in this video introduce the concept of incendiary bombing and explain how citizens can extinguish the fire from each bomb. The methods range from simplying putting a bucket of water over the bomb to throwing wet blankets over the fire. After the explanation there is a short cartoon showing the cute animals of Japan responding to an American bomber attack and putting out the fires from bombs before any major damage is done. If you look closely, you can see the evil face of President Roosevelt appear in one of the fires shortly before the Japanese citizens eliminate it.

I just enjoy music from around the world. I really love experiencing new rock bands, new sounds, and the like.

Japanese was my major in college and so I find myself drawn to new sounds from that country (funny... I don't really like anime either)... but anytime I hear something groovy from anywhere, I keep track.

The Icelandic group "Sigur Ros" is one of my favorites, but music from them is like Radiohead only slower. MUCH slower... but groovy beyond belief.

I'm just starting to get into heavy (deep heavy) metal music... so keep on sending them bands my way (and any other suggestions via PM-ing). I've been really diggin' them so far. Well, Amon Amarth at least. Korn I can live with or without (preferred his soundtrack for Queen of the Damned more) and I just couldn't get into the band above. Dunno... not enough "music" and too much "deep".

But then again... it fits the thread name!!!

OK... Quick Explanation here...

On any forum, Old, and very Long threads tend to take a great deal of resources... every time this thread is checked, it digs through a bunch of the database, indexed through allot of time, and that makes everything slower.

So I'm going to lock this thread ... and see if it helps with the performance of the entire board. Just start a new thread and carry on!
