I am curious what are the typical points played for 40k and FOW at the store?

Welcome. For FoW, we usually play anywhere from 1500 to 2000 pts in both mid war and late war. We have some early war players, but late and mid are by far the most popular. We have a great group that meets nearly every Sunday at noon if you would like to come out and join in.
