I've been gaming on-and-off since 1972 when a friend introduced me to Avalon Hill's Panzerblitz. Playing and practicing Magic:TG in the 90s taught me invaluable skills that mapped well to the game of business: manage my resources, keep track of everything that's in play, ignore that which is not, and remember anything can change in an instant. So to speak. My son gently nudged me towards 40K several years ago, mainly to have someone around he can beat and to help finance his 40k armies...

I've been an engineer for 34 years now, and I am grateful to game-makers and gamers for the social framework games provide for people like myself perhaps not so well versed in social matters. Well, grateful for that and the enormous fun to be had whilst gaming!
