Ok so apparently the Pope has issued the 10 commandments for driving and i must say he is freaking off the deep end

The "Drivers' Ten Commandments," as listed by the document, are:

1. You shall not kill.

2. The road shall be for you a means of communion between people and not of mortal harm.

3. Courtesy, uprightness and prudence will help you deal with unforeseen events.

4. Be charitable and help your neighbor in need, especially victims of accidents.

5. Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin.

6. Charitably convince the young and not so young not to drive when they are not in a fitting condition to do so.

7. Support the families of accident victims.

8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness.

9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party.

10. Feel responsible toward others.

Sorry if i offended anyone but wtf

In Italy they are known as the "10 Suggestions from the pope that we'll ignore like everything else anyone ever says about driving laws"

I don't quite get what you're objecting to? Are you saying those are bad suggestions?

For the devout Catholic especially, they all seem like good guidelines (and ways to avoid consistent with current Church teachings). And considering that auto-accidents kill more young people in 1st World Countries than ANY other source, I'd say that its a valid area of concern for Mr. Pope.

I'm surprised he didn't add, "Though shalt not make-out in the back of thy father's Chevy" :-)

ok sorry, but im objecting to the complete retardness of these.

2. The road shall be for you a means of communion between people and not of mortal harm.

this is just stupid and makes no sense

8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness.

oh sure that 1 will go over real well with everyone....im sorry if i get hit by someone, i want his information and my car repaired and to never see that person again

9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party.

please explain how i should do this....im to busy making sure i dont get ran over and made 1 with the pavement

10. Feel responsible toward others.

sure i will make sure that i wont hit their cars, but i really dont give a *insert expletive here* about them

Ok so like i said im sorry if this offends anyone but the pope is seriously "off his rocker"
