Sounds good to me. Tenatively Rob and I discussed that would attempt on a Saturday but not this one 7/2/11.
So maybe we will attempt 7/9/11.

Well I would suggest we try Saturday 7/9/11 at 1300 (1:00 pm) till 1700 (5:00pm).

I have played like over 30 games and the fastest 6 player game was 40 minutes. So yes if your inexperienced
4 hours might be 2 turns with 6 players. But experience, number of players, skill and options do make the time and
turns. 4 players can get a game done in 4 hours or less. We are going for fun and learning at least this time.

Well.. that is true. Every game I've played at least one person was new.

What expansions are we going to play with?

No expansions this time. At least 2 new players if not 3. We shall see what room we have
for players. Unfortunately trying to have 4 to 6 players this time. Training game and no
expansions this time. Sure next time. Remember there is like multiple games in one
(tactical board battle, political, racial, economical, technological, Victory Points/objectives,
strategy cards and sometimes a time limit; of course then you can alwatys then throw in
the extras from game options and expansions).

Just putting this out there, myself and a few friends (2) have been playing Twilight ourselves. One of us knew the game. We have been slowly progressing from half remembered rules, and house rules, to the actual game. We have a decent understanding of it now. And we play a few expansions.

We have talked amongst ourselves, and have decided that playing with people not... us... would be cool.

If people would be interested, then please PM me, or do something on the thread I sort of hijacked. I didn't want to make a new Twilight Imperium thread, and this one was here.

Sounds good. I know that Ed and I would be interested and perhaps Forest.
That would make 6. We have played with Rob the store owner but he would
and needs to get some more games under his belt. Perhaps a Saturday would
be good to get together and play. 4 can play a game in 2 to 5 hours. 6 is 4 to
6 hours. There is always the lucky sob that sometimes wins more quickly.
