Trying to help out a friend here. She received a request about a series (not clear if it's TV or novel) that I don't recognize. Here's the description:

"...a sci fi/fantasy series about a guy who wanders around, encounters magic, and grows various limbs about his body."

Stu, if anyone can get this ID'ed, it's you. Dale and Forrest may be in the running as well.

Sounds to me like The Uncanny Wands of Houdini Studwalker, but I haven't written that yet. Assuming she's not looped into my alternate timestream, I'll have to research it.

Is it Speed Grapher? An anime series with a photographer in a wierd cult? It's sort of like the description.

There's Chi-Chian, a Sci-fi stop-motion animated series that's similar in many respects. I haven't seen it, but I know about that one from an rpg I picked up.

If it's not one of those, I don't know. I'm stumped (and not a little embarassed about it!)
