Page 80 in NQ 12 has an advertisement for a Summer Rampage of Wm & Hordes league...will this be the Summer Season or a separate league all together?

I believe its the Summer Season, and so far I was planning on it as such. And yeah, it is both Systems formally.

Only 5 weeks though. They're giving us more of a break between Leagues. :-)

Next season I was planning on fielding my legion as I will actually have them painted, then will work on my Menoth while I am playing the legion.

Summer Rampage is separate from the Call to Arms league. It is a mixed format league (both HORDES and WARMACHINE).

Call to Arms will return for the Summer season after the Summer Rampage league.

It does seem like it is one right after the other. I am sure most people would like a bit of a break after the Spring League.

Summer Rampage does not begin until July 11th. That's almost 6 weeks after the spring season. I am betting the "summer" season will actually start in September. Our local issue is we included Hordes in Call to Arms so Summer Rampage does not seem like a big change to us, though the killing moves and scenario feats seem very interesting.

I'd say let's follow PP's lead on that. Immediately Post-Evo is going to be too crazy to combine in league play.

If CTA is balanced for WM only, then we should stick to that - I saw way too many scenarios that didn't work at all for the mix. (And some that still don't work for me at all, but why make it worse?)

I'm sure there'll be plenty for HORDES only players to do with Evo out!

BTW...
ROB - We may need to order a crapload of No Quarters for Summer Rampage. From the official page:

Sounds like an NQ for every player, PLUS the Kit itself ($35-$50 depending on players)

I'm heading to Virginia on Thursday and then to Chicago after that. I will be out for approx. 2 weeks - almost to the day.

So I unfortunately I can't be there. I will have my phone however, and it's a pretty relaxed trip we're taking so if you wish to call Thursday night feel free.

Sign-ups will begin tonight at the Haven. Hordes and Warmachine. No paired factions, no teams as far as I can tell.
You MUST pick up No Quarter #13 to Play! This will have your scorecard in it.
Additional cost is $4 per player.

The League runs from July 11th (2 weeks away!) to August 15th (right before GenCon)

Note, this is NOT the "Summer Call To Arms League" - that will come shortly after GenCon.

Once NQ13 shows, I'll answer questions.

I'm hoping there will be ENOUGH this time around due to the fact that I'll be in Durango until Saturday or Sunday and won't make it to the store until the following Tuesday at the earliest. Dale you mentioned communicating this, at one point...I figured I'd just throw it out there to see if Rob's aware he'll need to order more than usual.

If you guys want, you could call Rob right now at the store to see how much he will be getting in. That way, if he needs more, he could contact his distributor.

When/how are we doing team forming? NQ13 will not be out until the 6th of July, a Friday and then the league begns on the 11th a Wednesday...

I for one will be playing Legion so I can get my Khador all painted for Call to Arms Summer Season.

It says we get cards in NQ13... do we have to provide our own for the league? I may be playing at 2 stores but am not buying 2 copies of NQ just for the cards :confused:

That's the way it is...there's no kit order that comes with cards. They *might* add that to be available soon (like in case someone loses their card), but I haven't seen any word come down yet.
