Micro-Con 2011 is THIS Saturday, January 29th starting at NOON at Gamer's Haven.

Seats in Micro-Con 2011 are filling up fast, this is a FREE event. Players are welcome to sign up for open seats in games the day of Micro-Con, but the only way to ensure someone gets a seat for a particular game is BOTH to register an account AND sign up for games ahead of time on the Warhorn website. So please save your spots in the games you want to play ASAP, and we'll see you at the tables this Saturday! Below is the description and number of seats still available.

If you are unfamiliar with Micro-Con, it is a speed role playing mini-con in it's third year. Two hour samples of role playing games are offered, allowing players to sample up to 4 different RPGs in 1 day.
Players learn the basic rules and play a complete or episodic adventure, both beginning players and more experienced players are welcome. This year's role playing games are Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Doctor Who 4 slot episodic marathon, Call of Cthulhu and GURPs Heroes & GURPS Horror.

Micro-Con starts at Noon on Saturday, January 29th at Gamer's Haven, which is located at 5730 N. Academy Blvd, 80918. It is sponsored by Gaming Events in the Springs and Gamer's Haven. This is a FREE event and there will be coupons for discounts on Arby's food items available.

The Auction (Call of Cthulhu) by Michael Chumbler

Event Description: A group of experts on the occult are hired to act as proxies to acquire some rare items at an auction taking place in Austria. The chance to travel to such a exotic location is more than enough incentive for the Investigators to jump at the employment opportunity and the possibility obtain a few items for themselves. However, when the proceedings are interrupted by robbery and murder, the Investigators are asked to assist in solving the crime discretely to maintain the reputation of the auction house. The Investigators soon learn that there are things far worse than murder going on in Austria and, it turns out, there are things far worse than death awaiting them should their investigation turn bad.
