Valiant Harbingers, Demigods and Ice Witches,

The Labor Day holiday weekend meeting ushered in the final turn of the existing banners on the map for year one of the campaign.

As usual, please ensure that you verify your current positions on the map and schedule any battles that you must fight prior to our next meeting on 11 September. There have been a few instances of players not being able to schedule their games within the two week game turns and the earlier you play them, the less likely that you will have to forfeit a game or make request a ruling from Forrest or myself.

At the end of this turn, two weeks from 4 September, there will be an additional week hiatus in order to adjudicate the resource and victory points for each individual player and their respective forces. Each player will receive an individualized e-mail from Forrest explaining points totals and rules for reinforcing, deconstructing and building new forces under the banner of your glorious deities! The hiatus will allow everyone to contemplate the use of their resource points and make plans for the final year of the independence or conquest of Aegyptus!

Please remain vigilant for further updates on the campaign forum and the Gamer's Haven forum for further developments.

Thanks again for your participation and feel free to contact me or Forrest for any questions you may have.
Next campaign meeting is tentatively scheduled for 18 September.

Respectfully,
KEVIN

Is there already going to be a meeting for year two this weekend? Because I cannot get a hold of forest through PMing and there is some fighting I still need to do with him.

I'm still unclear if Forrest wants to hold a campaign meeting this weekend to go over the campaign hiatus and expectations for the following turn. He should be reading this but, if I do not get a hold of him by tomorrow evening then I'll post a decision on the forums to inform everyone.
Thanks!

So, is the campaign dead?

Stephan,

I don't believe the campaign is dead but, due to a few of us still having a couple of games that need to be resolved I'm not sure what the current situation rests. I have one last game for Rob's Capital left to play but, we can't seem to get our schedules together for the past month to play it out. We'll have to poke Forrest about where everything stands...

Respectfully,
KEVIN

He is just afraid to get the last games done. I have banners on his capitol and he has not responded to my promises of taking it painlessly.

OK Guys,

I have finally worked out the last details for year one. I apologize for the horrible delays. We will have our first turn (and moves) for year 2 on Saturday, November 14th at noon. Please have your new, revised Banner lists ready for me that day. I will be posting the map for the end of year 2 on the forum. Take a look at the big red menace at the north end of the map. Remember, your banners can start either in your capital(s), or in the hex they ended year 1 in.

Forrest

Oh its your you sneaking little Son-of-a-Gun. I turn my back for a minute and you steal my Capital. You are also in second place. Can you say "target"?

Please keep in mind that the first campaign meeting of Year 2 is Saturday, 13 November (not 14 November), for those of you who may have not received the corrected mass player e-mail that Forrest sent out last week.

KEVIN

Rodger Doger. Since I now have two capitols, can banners start where they are now or in either of the capitols not just my mega hex one.

Your banners can start where they ended at the conclusion of Turn 1. They may also start in any of your capitals. This includes your original starting capital and the newly conquered capital as well.

Thankyou, I thought that I could start in my new capitol but just wanted to double check since I have lost many a good souls to the desert because I did not double check.
