WOOO! I never played number 2, but the first fallout was pretty freakin awesome. I wish I could still find a copy.
Wow. That's hot.
Fallout's my favorite of that era.
They understood what a fella could do with a crowbar in that game, boy.

Fallout is a great game. Like Jim said, hopefully they will continue with the formula that made the game great.

Wow, loved the trailer. At first I thought that the tall object on the horizon was a rocket ship, but then I realized its the washington monument. I think.
If the next game takes place on the east coast that would be super hot!

Yeah all the shots they've released so far show east coast landmarks.
Ron Pearlman is so the man.

Ehg, have you guys seen the gameplay demo thingy. Look it up on Gametrailers.com the graphics are absolutely repulsive. though it is still a year or so away. I never quite under stood the hype bout this game.

Well the series has never centered itself around graphics. They go for things like being able to pretty much do anything you like. Some of the cut scenes might be awsome but again like I said they have never gone for graphics intensive games.

I've said this before... I'll say it again.
If you want to understand why people are stoked for Fallout 3 you need a time machine... go back 10 years or so and play Fallout 1 when it first came out, then fallout 2 and restart after a week because a bug that made it so you couldn't finish the game was patched, and all your saves before the patch were worthless.
Then challenge your chum to finish the entire game without ever firing a shot (Targeted Round house kick to the left eye that hits every time FTW!!!)
Now sit back and listen to Ron Pearlman explain to you that war never changes.
It's ok... We'll wait :)

Only thing I'm iffy about is it's more of a FPS then turnbased RPG which I would perfer... sigh.

Turn based RPG's are so out of favor now...
I would hope they don't go all the way to FPS, although a deep FPS RPG would be pretty cool... probably make me happy, but not as Fallout.
probably be more a real time but pausable game (think Fallout Tactics)
Probably should look up the aforementioned gameplay vids.

Fallout as a FPS? It would lose the appeal that the original had. And as much as I enjoy a good FPS, there are way too many out there right now.
