Come out and play Magic every Saturday evening starting at 6pm. For May we are having just casual games. In June we will start having more organized events in casual fun formats.
The list of events for June are as follows.
Magic: The Gathering June Schedule
All games start on Saturdays at 6:00PM. Please bring your DCI number if you have one. Events are casual fun formats. New players welcome to attend and learn the game. If you have any questions about any of the events coming up or have ideas for future events please contact Amy at KatGyrlGames@aol.com
June 5 Creature Feature: Bring a deck that is all centered around one type of creature, ie. Angels, birds, goblins, slivers, rats, dwarfs, knights, etc….. No more then 8 spell cards allowed in your deck. Spell cards cannot be used if they make you target all creatures of a named type unless you control those creatures.
June 12 Booster Draft: Players will purchase three boosters of Magic from the front counter. Boosters used will be announced on the day of the event. Players then sit in a group. One booster is opened for each person then the player picks one cars from the pack and passes the pack to the next player where he picks a card and passes the remains of the pack on to the next player. This continues until all cards have been drafted. After that has happened each player will build a deck from the cards they picked.
Please bring basic land with you to finish your deck with.
June 19 Highlander Constructed: There can be only one! Bring a minimum 60 card constructed deck that has no more then one of each card, no limit on basic land.
June 26 Booster Draft: Players will purchase three boosters of Magic from the front counter. Boosters used will be announced on the day of the event. Players then sit in a group. One booster is opened for each person then the player picks one cars from the pack and passes the pack to the next player where he picks a card and passes the remains of the pack on to the next player. This continues until all cards have been drafted. After that has happened each player will build a deck from the cards they picked.
