April 28th, Open Steamroller, Warmachine and Hordes!

Join us on April 28th at 11AM for the first big Open Steamroller event! 750point forces are welcome from both Warmachine and Hordes! We will be doing at least three 90 min rounds, maybe more depending on turnout, and using SR3 rules and scenarios. Prizes will be the winner certificates and gold cards for the overall. If attendance is good, we'll look into coins for future Opens (maybe even retroactively for this one!)
Best of all, the event is FREE!

WM/Hordes only requires that you use original base models, no proxies (but conversions are allowed). WM does not have the "counts as" rule so an conversion work you feel like doing must be identifiable as the original unit it represents.

Painting is not required nor is it scored for tourney points, but does look nice and helps atract new players.

I was looking at my calander an I hate to say it but I can not make the tournament on this day. That is the Saterday I play my RPG with Jeff's group and I don't want to blow it off.

Most of my stuff won't even be fully assembled. These stupid KE's just can't be painted well if you out them all together. I'll have models on bases if I do mkae it and they will be at least primed...maybe if I get get a lot done...I can start getting paint on them.

I have something of a unique issue. My Darius box set was without the three halfjack bodies. I am still waiting for PP to return my e-mail to let me know if there will be a replacement coming to me, or if I need to buy some.

Those are the only models I am missing, and I cant readily aquire the real models (not without buying a whole new set). What should I do with that?

Thanks for a great tournament. I still firmly believe Hordes doesnt mix well with Warmachine, but it wasnt as bad this time.. ;) Had fun, and am looking forward to the next one.
